Carnival Spice® is an internationally renowned, fitness and entertainment company based in Toronto, Canada. Home of the #SpiceFam community, we are also known for our energetic, talented and reliable performers and instructors. We book a wide range of events from corporate events to festivals, weddings and television.

Educate the next generation on the significance of Caribbean Carnival, and Black & Caribbean History
Provide exceptional family-friendly Carnival experiences at special events
Promote health and wellness through our Caribbean-dance fitness programs
Mentor emerging Black & Caribbean dance artists and facilitators; providing meaningful work opportunities through our Training and Performance Team
We are expanding our dynamic team of Carnival Spice Instructors. Selected applicants will receive hands-on training from our Artistic Director during Spring 2025 to prepare you for a wide-range of in-field teaching work ranging from community programming and workshops, to corporate fitness and virtual offerings within Carnival Spice.
Starting Rate: from $40.00/hr+
This opportunity is ideal for someone who:
Has a passion for dance and/or Caribbean Carnival!
Is reliable and has a strong work ethic
Has previous experience teaching dance or fitness
Has a desire to be a part of a dynamic team and supportive environment
Must live in Toronto, Ontario (Canada)
Experience in Caribbean, Hip Hop or Latin dance performance is an asset
Group fitness or personal training certification is an asset
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset but not required

SPICE DANCE PERFORMER
We are also accepting performance applicants to our Carnival Spice® Training and Performance Team. Selected candidates will be prepared to perform at a variety of Carnival Spice performances, including weddings, festivals and television.
SPICE PERSONNEL (paid internship)
The candidate would be working closely with our Artistic Director to complete general administrative tasks related to email communications and marketing initiatives (including social media, special event support).
